Robin - The Boy Wonder
Mario Nagel is looking very depressed. It'sbecause he's the latest victim of Robin Vlitalo's self-admitted run good.
Just a few hands before, Vlitalo had cracked Koen De Visscher's aces with jacks and in this hand he got into a raising war with the German Nagel.
Vlitalo raised to 16,000 but when Nagel made it 43,000 from the blinds, the Swede responded by four-betting to 78,000. Undeterred, Nagel five-bet to 178,000 and Vlitalo moved all in for 549,000 but Nagel quickly called.

The board came and Vlitalo doubled up to over a million, it's not the first time he's managed to get lucky in a big pot. Early on Day 1 the Swede managed to get 55,000 in preflop with ace-six offsuit against the pocket jacks of Vladmir Geshkenbein and managed to spike there also. This is not to say he's been playing bad, he's chipped up well today but is perhaps less scared of wagering his entire stack than some of the other players.
