The Stacks Even Out
It looked like Marvin Rettenmaier was going to run away with this tournament, but that just changed when he lost a big pot to Fabian Quoss. Now, all three players are sitting on very similar stacks.
In the last hand of Level 24, Quoss limped from the small blind and then called when Rettenmaier raised to 130,000. Both players then checked the flop, and the dealer burned and turned the . Quoss seized the opportunity to bet 150,000, Rettenmaier called, and the peeled off on the river.
Again Quoss led out, this time for 300,000, and Tettenmaier tossed in a call. Quoss tabled for the rivered nuts, and Rettenmaier was left shaking his head.
