More for Yurasov

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

We happened upon the action with around 600,000 in the pot and a board reading {4-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{2-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{a-Spades}. Dmitry Yurasov fired out a healthy bet of 375,000 and Thomas Muhlocker looked him up. Yurasov tabled the {7-Spades}{4-Spades} for a flush, and it was good a Muhlocker mucked.

Mike "Timex" McDonald Eliminated in 5th Place (115,400)

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Mike McDonald - 5th Place
Mike McDonald - 5th Place

Dmitry Yurasov opened for 80,000 under the gun only to have Mike "Timex" McDonald three-bet all in for 740,000 from the cutoff. The button folded, as did both blinds, and Yurasov asked for a count before making the call.

Yurasov: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}
McDonald: {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}

McDonald got it in good, and according to the PokerNews Odds Calculator, McDonald had a 54.45% chance of surviving the hand while Yurasov would come from behind 45.17% of the time. Unfortunately for McDonald, this was one of those times as the flop came down {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{3-Spades}.

Yurasov paired his ace to become a massive 91.21% favorite, and McDonald was left in need of a six, which would come a mere 8.78% of the time. The {Q-Clubs} turn was not it, and neither was the {8-Diamonds} river. "Good game guys," McDonald said before taking his leave in fifth place for 115,400.

Mike McDonaldEnded up coming 5th in the HR for 115. Ran super well all tourney and I don't think I've ever been this pleased with a non-win in my career

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante

Thomas Muhlocker opened for 60,000 and was called by Dmitry Yurasov on the button, Mike McDonald in the small blind and Ivan Soshnikov in the big blind. Flop was {8-Spades}{a-Hearts}{6-Spades} and it was checked round to Yurasov who bet 120,000. McDonald checked and Soshnikov then check-raised to 260,000. Muhlocker folded and Yurasov made the call. McDonald folded and they saw a turn card {2-Hearts}. Ivan Soshnikov moved all in and Yurasov threw his cards in.

Yurasov Barrels

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante

Olivier Busquet opened on the button for 60,000 and Dmitry Yurasov in the small blind raised to 160,000. The big blind folded and Busquet made the call. They saw a flop of {4-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} and Yurasov led out for 130,000 which Busquet called. Turn card {9-Clubs} and again Yurasov bet, making it more expensive at 250,000. Busquet put out the chips to call once more. River card {7-Diamonds}. Yurasov went for 400,000. Without talking too much time Busquet made the call, but when Yurasov turned over his {q-Clubs}{q-Spades} it was the winner and Busquet mucked his hand.

Andy Seth Eliminated in 6th Place (88,650)

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante
Andy Seth - 6th Place
Andy Seth - 6th Place

After Ivan Soshnikov opened for 61,000 from the hijack and Olivier Busquet called from the button, Andy Seth declared that he was all in for right around 550,000 from the big blind. Soshnikov folded and Busquet made a quick call.

Seth: {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Busquet: {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}

"Suited," Seth said of his cards. No sooner did the words leave his mouth then the dealer fanned out the {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{8-Clubs} flop. Seth picked up two clubs, and he actually made his flush when the {6-Clubs} appeared on the turn. Seth was primed to double right back in contention, but then the {10-Spades} completed the board on the river.

Busquet filled up to tens full of sevens, and a resigned Seth rapped the table before taking his leave in sixth place for 88,650.

Team PokerStars Pro Vanessa Selbst Eliminated in 7th Place (64,500)

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante
Vanessa Selbst - 7th Place
Vanessa Selbst - 7th Place

Olivier Busquet opened for 60,000 from the hijack and Vanessa Selbst looked him up from the button. The blinds both folded and it was heads-up action to the {4-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop. Busquet wasted little time in betting 75,000, Selbst called, and the {10-Spades} appeared on the turn. Busquet bet again, this time 100,000, and Selbst responded by moving all in for 265,000. Busquet snap-called and Selbst discovered the bad news.

Selbst: {k-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Busquet: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}

Selbst had flopped top pair, but she needed more help if she was going to crack Busquet's pocket rockets. The {10-Diamonds} river didn't do it and Selbst, who began her incredible year with a win in the PCA High Roller, was eliminated in seventh place for 64,500.

"Good game," she said before making her way to the payout desk.

Maximilian Heinzelmann
Maximilian Heinzelmann

Dmitry Yurasov opened for 60,000 and Max Heinzelmann moved all in. Vanessa Selbst asked for a count of Yurasovs stack and then she moved all in over the top. Yurasov thought for a while and eventually called it all off so we had a three way all in. Heinzelmann had {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}, Selbst had {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds} and Yurasov had {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}. The board ran out {7-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{8-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} and Heinzelmann was eliminated while a distraught Selbst had a big dent put in her stack.

Mike McDonald
Mike McDonald

Dmitry Yurasov opened for 60,000 and called the all-in shove from Mike McDonald for 398,000. Yurasov flipped over {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs} and McDonald needed a lot of help with his {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}. He got it right on the flop as the board came out {a-Hearts}{6-Spades}{7-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}. McDonald doubles up again to get right back into the game.
