Phahurat Likes Europe
World Series of Poker Circuit grinder AP Phahurat has left the American tournament circuit to try his chances at the tables abroad. As you can tell by his recent tweet, Phahurat seems to be enjoying his time in Germany.
Phahurat has over $495,000 in tournament winnings and is still looking for his first tournament cash outside of America. Phahurat has cashes dating back to 2012 but truly burst onto the scene during the 2012 WSOP Main Event where he made a deep run and ultimately finished in 185th place.
More recently, Phahurat just missed out on his first WSOP Circuit ring when he finished runner-up in the 2013 WSOPC Caesar's Palace Las Vegas Main Event. Phahurat pocketed over $137,000 for that finish which is his largest live tournament cash to date. He's looking to top that this week and we'll be on hand to keep track of his progress in this tournament.
