Peters Busts Two Players Including a Frustrated Pantaleo
Enver Abduraimov, Tobias Peters and Giuseppe Pantaleo were three of five players that took to a flop. The action here took a long while to play out and at the end of the hand Peters had won the pot and busted both opponents. Abduraimov took his defeat well but Pantaleo didn’t.
The action was checked to Pantaleo in mid position and he bet 2,650. This bet was called in two spots including Peters. While all this was taking place Abduraimov was complaining about a moist patch in front of him. It’s not what you’re thinking! Someone must’ve spilt a drink over the table at some point and the Ukrainian was asking for more towels for soakage. Then he said as he moved all in for 12,175, “It’s too wet, maybe I just go all in and then if I but I don’t have to deal with water!”
The fifth party in the hand folded before Pantaleo moved all in as well for 21,275. There was one more fold before the final decision was on Peters. He took a long time to think, asked for the bets to be pulled in, did some calculations in his head and then said, “Let’s gamble!” as he called.
Abduraimov: for bottom set.
Pantaleo: for top pair, top kicker.
Peters: for a flush draw.
The board ran out to make the Dutchman a flush. “Oy yeah!” he shouted.
Pantaleo banged his fist on the table, got up out of his chair and kicked it before he stormed off.
