Haglund Doubles Through O'Dwyer

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Olof Haglund
Olof Haglund

Olof Haglund was one of the shortest stacks when play started yesterday. He managed to double up twice early on and that set the foundations for him to make the final table.

Fast forward to today and the Swede has started in a similar way: he doubled through Steve O'Dywer in the biggest pot of the tournament so far, and claimed the chip lead!

Haglund opened to 100,000 and then four-bet to 580,000 when O'Dwyer three-bet to 275,000. O'Dwyer shoved and Haglund made a quick call all in for 2.67 million.

Haglund: {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
O'Dywer: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}

The board ran a blank {5-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{9-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}.

Haglund up to 5.45 million O'Dywer dropped to 1.68 million

Christopher Frank raised to 105,000 under the gun +2 and Olof Haglund three-bet to 245,000 from the button. Both blinds folded and Frank went into the tank before four-betting to 535,000. Haglund took little time to fold and Frank picked up the pot.

Kamer Play it Safe, Stays Alive

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Tamer Kamel was down to 13 big blinds and in the the big blind when he faced a min raise from Mantas Visockis.

He elected just to call before both players went on to check down the {k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} board. Kamel opened {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades} but lost out to Visockis' {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}.

That'll probably the last time he can afford to take such a line; his chips will be going in soon.

Chris Moorman Eliminated in 8th Place (£57,000)

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Chris Moorman
Chris Moorman

Chris Moorman raised to 105,000 from the button and Team PokerStars Pro Theo Jorgensen three-bet to 280,000. The big blind folded and Moorman went into the tank. After a while me moved all in for 1,225,000 and Jorgensen snap-called.

Chris Moorman: {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}
Theo Jorgensen: {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}

The board ran out {J-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{9-Clubs} and Moorman was knocked out in eighth place. Jorgensen picked up a ton of chips and is now sitting in third place, right behind Ruben Visser.

Joregensen Shows the Kids

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Team PokerStars Pro Theo Jorgensen has a trick or two up his sleeve and won't be pushed around.

He opened to 115,00 from the button to face a three-bet to 265,000 from Ruben Visser on the button. The Dane came back over the top with a four-bet to 400,000 and that did the job as Visser folded.

Another Shove From Moorman

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Steve O'Dwyer raised to 115,000 from under the gun plus one and Chris Moorman shoved to his immediate left. Everyone folded back to O'Dwyer who looked back at his cards and folded.

On the hand after that Moorman shoved again and he's now up to 1.5 million chips.
