Thomas Takes One
Level 3
: 100/200, 0 ante
Julian Thomas, who won WPT Prague in December, just won a not insignificant pot against Andrey Lobzhanidze. Pre-flop Thomas raised to 600, Pierre Calamusa made it 1,800 to play, Andrey Lobzhanidze flat-called, Thomas four-bet to 4,800 and only Lobzhanidze called.
So there was already 11,675 in the pot as the flop came down a drenched , both players checked and the fell on the turn. First to act Thomas made a bet of 2,800 and Lobzhanidze smooth called. The river elicited checks from both players, Thomas showed and it was good. He's up to 33,000 as a result.
