A Bit Of Action

Level 20 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Hand #90: Cates opened the hijack with {Q-Diamonds}{J-Spades} for 160,000. Richard Yong in the cutoff made the call with {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. The flop came {A-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} and Cates continued for 160,000. Yong called to grow the pot to 820,000.

The {7-Spades} made Cates drawing dead. "jungleman" checked and Yong checked behind. The {A-Hearts} on the river made Yong a full house. Cates checked, and folded to Yong's 250,000 bet.

Hand #91: Colman with {A-Hearts}{2-Spades} on the button made it 160,000. Both blinds folded and Colman took it down.

Hand #92: Yong found {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} under the gun and made it 160,000. Cates in the big blind made the call with {A-Spades}{8-Spades}. The {A-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{6-Spades} flop was good for Cates but he checked.

Yong made a 125,000 bet and Cates just called. The {7-Clubs} on the turn made both players check. The {Q-Hearts} fell on the river and both players checked. With two pair it was Cates taking down the rather small pot.

Hand #93: Colman in the hijack opened for 160,000 with {A-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}. Igor Kurganov in the cutoff moved allin for 1,390,000 with {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}. Everyone folded, including Colman and Kurganov's shove got through.

Hand #94: Cates opened for 160,000 on the button with {5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}. Lo made the call from the big blind with {10-Hearts}{4-Hearts}. The {Q-Clubs}{J-Spades}{3-Spades} on the flop missed both, but Lo bet out 125,000 nonetheless. Cates made the call with five high.

The {3-Clubs} on the turn made Lo, with 2.4 million behind, check. With 670,000 in the pot, Cates bet out 300,000. Lo played with his chips for awhile, but it was all for show, he folded.
