Yurasov Turns the Screw

Level 1 : 100/200, 25 ante

Chane Kampanatsanyakorn opened for 600 in the cutoff and Dmitry Yurasov three-bet him to 2,000 from the small blind. The big blind folded and Kampanatsanyakorn four bet to 4,500. Yurasov made the call.

The flop was {10-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{k-Spades} and both players checked to see a turn card {a-Spades}. A 5,800 bet from Yurasov was called by Kampanatsanyakorn and the went to the river where a {6-Diamonds} completed the board.

Yurasov collected some of each denomination of chips and put out his bet. Kampanatsanyakorn asked the bet to be clarified and found it was a hefty 9,300. He mused for a while and said to himself, You raised ne preflop. He then tried the fake pump call but there was no reaction from Yurasov.

Eventually he did make the call and mucked when Yurasov turned over {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} for the turned straight.
