Timoshenko and Filatov Can't Beat Lute
In the hijack Yevgeniy Timoshenko, who won the A$100,000 Challenge during the Aussie Millions in Melbourne this year (A$2,000,000), opened for 900. Next door neighbor Anatoly Filatov, who placed second in the EPT Vienna High Roller for €265,200 recently, made the call. Dutch qualifier Martijn Lute joined the action by tossing in an extra 500 on top of his 400 big blind.
Lute checked to Timoshenko on and he made a 1,350 continuation bet. Both Filatov and Lute made the call. The fell on the turn and both Lute and Timoshenko now checked. Filatov bet out 2,500 and just Lute made the call, Timoshenko folded. The was placed on the river and both players checked.
