Duhamel Done In by Dato
Level 6
: 300/600, 75 ante
Not long ago Jonathan Duhamel was sitting on a healthy stack of 100K. He lost a little of it, and then a short time later the rest found its way into the stack of Italian Andrea Dato.
We caught Duhamel's last hand on the river with around 37,000 in the pot and a board reading . Duhamel had bet 21,000 from the hijack and Dato, who was enjoying a massage, thought for a bit before moving all in.
Duhamel had around 34,000 back, and eventually he splashed them into the pot. Dato confidently rolled over the for trips, and it was good as Duhamel elected to send his cards to the muck.
Every player has the option to reenter the event once, and we'd be surprised if the 2011 World Series of Poker Main Event champ doesn't exercise that option.
