A Set For Ghamrawi

Level 30 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Anthony Ghamrawi raised to 205,000 under the gun with {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and Marko Neumann called from the button with {A-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}. Pablo Gordillo, in the small blind, called with {A-Hearts}{J-Spades}, and Oleksii Khoroshenin called from the big blind with {5-Clubs}{2-Clubs}.

The flop brought {7-Spades}{10-Clubs}{K-Clubs} and every player caught a piece, but everyone checked around.

On the turn the {A-Spades} hit and it was checked to Ghamrawi who opted to bet 455,000 this time around. Neumann decided to make the call with his two pair and the action was now on Gordillo who folded immediately. Khoroshenin called as well and three players went to the river.

The river brought the {J-Hearts} and all three players checked. Ghamrawi won the pot with his set and he chipped up some more.

Level 30 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante
Timo Pf¨¹tzenreuter
Timo Pftzenreuter

Pfutzenreuter was seated under the gun and shoved all in for 17 big blinds with {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}. Anthony Ghamrawi was seated on the button with {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and announced all in as well. Both blinds folded and we had a showdown.

Pfutzenreuter was in trouble and wouldn't get any help.

The {7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Spades} flop gave both players a set. The {3-Diamonds} on the turn brought four outs for the chop. No four or six on the river though, the {A-Spades} sent one of the two Germans packing.

Timo Pfutzenreuter takes home 203,900, the remaining players are all guaranteed 262,150 now.

Khoroshenin Extends His Lead

Level 30 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Timo Pfutzenreuter raised to 200,000 from the cutoff with {J-Spades}{9-Hearts} and Oleksii Khoroshenin three-bet to 475,000 from the button with {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}. Marko Neumann looked down on {8-Spades}{8-Clubs} in the big blind and he four-bet to 1,175,000 and Pfutzenreuter immediately let go of his hand.

The action was now back on Khoroshenin who went into tank for a long time, as usual, before making the call in position.

The flop brought out {A-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{A-Spades} and Neumann opted to check and Khoroshenin checked behind. The turn brought the {2-Diamonds} and Neumann checked again, as did Khoroshenin.

On the river the {2-Hearts} hit and both players checked again. Khoroshenin's queens took down the pot and he chipped up to over 10.5 million.

Another EPT is coming to an end, even though it might not feel like it right now. The sun went down over Vienna a short while ago, the last few minutes of sunlight shining across the part of town that, with its grassy areas is full of activity as Saturday afternoon turns into Saturday night. It also marked the end of Simeon Naydenovs week in the Main Event, as the PokerStars Blog reports:

We Have a New Chip Leader

Level 30 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Marko Neumann opened under the gun to 200,000. Oleksii Khoroshenin in the small blind, holding {A-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}, made it 550,000. Anthony Ghamrawi in the big blind had queen-ten and folded, action back on Neumann. The German chip leader made the call in position.
