Seat 2: Anthony Ghamrawi, 27, Vienna, Austria - PokerStars qualifier - 5,150,000
Playing in his home city of Vienna, Ghamrawi spent Day 5 wearing a baseball cap signed by Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu on the TV table. He got a bunch of chips on Day 4 by doubling up through British pro Stephen Chidwick and then busting former chip leader Sebastian Trisch with QQ. Ghamrawi’s best live result to date was defeating a 1,465 strong field in one of the Rio’s $235 Daily Deepstack tourneys in Vegas for $54,344. He also made the final of the WPT Vienna Main Event in 2012, finishing ninth for €19,660. However, making today’s final, where he’s guaranteed at least €77,000, is by far his biggest live result. He won his seat to EPT Vienna in a €320 NLHE Deep Hyper-Turbo qualifier in February and has live tournament winnings to date of more than $124,000.
