Three way to the flop: . Amirov was still ahead with his jacks but the ace on the flop had Tremzin and him check. Popov, in position, bet 330,000 and Tremzin called with second pair, Amirov folded the best hand. on the turn and Tremzin checked. Popov, now with a 3% hand, checked behind.
The fell on the river and Tremzin bet a mere 365,000 into the 1,590,000 pot. Popov just about instantly folded.
Hand #7: Action folded to Slaven Popov in the cutoff and he made it 240,000 with . Short stack Olivier Ferrero found in the big blind but didn't defend. Pot to Popov.
Hand #8: Popov with the went for two in a row and opened to 240,000 from early position. It was short stacked Hossein Ensan in the big blind but he too had a nothing hand () and folded.
Hand #9: for Gleb Tremzin in the cutoff with two shorties behind him. He opened to 265,000 nonetheless. Olivier Ferrero with on the button moved in for 1,255,000 and Hossein Ensan called all in for 860,000 with from the blinds. Tremzin folded.
It was a pure coinflip, but that all changed after the flop! Ensan was now leading, and he didn't get in trouble anymore with the on the turn and on the river. Double up for Ensan, Ferrero down to just 3 big blinds.
