English poker pro Adam Owen is a mixed games specialist and his previous best live results have come mainly in non-Hold’em disciplines. Owen's biggest payday was at the 2015 World Series of Poker when he finished third in the $10k Seven Card Razz Championship for $104,914. It was in an another Razz event when Owen came close to winning his first EPT Barcelona trophy last year, banking €28,395 for second place.
The 23-year-old from the tiny Kent village of Lyminge in in the UK, is fresh from a prolific WSOP summer grind. He cashed in nine bracelet events this year, including one final table and two 12th place finishes. He's racked up $400k in live cashes so far. Owen is also very active online, playing as "Adamyid" on PokerStars. He earned his first SCOOP title this May, winning the $82+R 5-Card Omaha Hi-Low 6-max Event for $15,647. Experienced in various disciplines, the Englishman is no stranger to the NLH either: he was a runner-up in the 2015 SCOOP-44-M $215 Sunday Warm-Up Event, taking $120,335.
