Welcome to Day 1 of the EPT12 Grand Final �25,750 High Roller
In two hours from now at 12.30 p.m. local time, the final highlight of the 2016 PokerStars and Monte-Carlo? Casino EPT Grand Final gets underway with Day 1 of the three-day �25,750 High Roller.
Many of the usual suspects are expected back at the tables of the Salles des Etoiles at the Monte-Carlo Bay Resort on this sunny day. Defending champion is Charlie Carrel, who defeated a 215-entry strong field one year ago for a payday of �1,114,000.
The eight-handed tournament provides levels of 60 minutes and a starting stack of 50,000 chips with 10 levels scheduled for Day 1, registration and single reentry remain available until 15 minutes prior to the start of Day 2 on Thursday.
A bumper field is expected and yesterday's Satellites have been very promising with 53 entrants (7 tickets) in the morning and more than 90 entries (10 tickets) in the evening. Another �3,200 Turbo Satellite kicked off half an hour ago as well.
