Hands #44-47: Allain Makes a Big Bluff

Level 30 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Hand #44: Small blind Pierre Calamusa limped in with {7-Spades}{2-Spades} and big blind Adrien Allain checked his {Q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}. The flop came {2-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{A-Spades} and Calamusa bet 125,000. Allain called. The {8-Hearts} fell on the turn and Calamusa took down the pot with his 275,000 bet as Allain folded his queen-high.

Hand #45: In the hijack, Asan Umarov found {A-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and raised to 225,000. All of his opponents quickly laid down their hands and Umarov took down the blinds and antes.

Hand #46: Hijack Jimmy Guerrero with the {A-Clubs}{J-Spades} made it 235,000. His neighbor Pierre Calamusa found {A-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and three-bet to 600,000. Action folded to Guerrero and he too folded.

"I make a big fold" said Guerrero.

Hand #47: Asan Umarov folded pocket threes but hijack Calamusa found {10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and made it 225,000 to go. Cutoff Adrien Allain with the {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} called in position. The flop came {7-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and Calamusa, while flopping best, checked. Allain bet 225,000 and Calamusa called, growing the pot to 1,120,000. The {K-Hearts} on the turn saw Calamusa check again. This time around, Allain bet 575,000. Calamusa called again.

The {10-Hearts} on the turn gave Calamusa two pair, but it sure wasn't the card he was looking for and he checked. Allain bet 800,000 into the 2,270,000 pot and Calamusa folded just about instantly.
