Stokkan Busts to Egues
Level 13
: 1,500/3,000, 400 ante
The cards were all gone, but Roman Korenev was kind enough to explain what happened while Cristian Egues said in table chat to Philipp Gruissem that it "was the first time I got lucky in the tournament."
Egues raised to 7,000 from the button and Stokkan called in the small blind, Korenev folded the big blind. On the flop, Stokkan check-raised from 10,000 to 25,000 and Egues moved all in. Stokkan called with and had the better kicker against the of Egues.
The turn brought another king and a jack on the river completed a full house for Egues, who appears to be dominating chip leader now.
