Adams Loses the Rest

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Timothy Adams, short after that hand we just reported on, got his last 41,000 in with {10-Clubs}{J-Spades}. Igor Yaroshevskyy, himself short with just 45,000 to start the hand, was the one going to battle with him. Yaroshevskyy brought {A-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} and won on {10-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}.

Fellow Canadian Daniel Dvoress was also eliminated recently.

Sointula Doubles Through Adams

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Mustapha Kanit opened to 16,000 from under the gun and Timothy Adams moved all in from the button. Jani Sointula in the big blind called all in and Kanit asked for a count on Adams' shove. The Canadian was all in for 141,000 and Kanit folded.

Jani Sointula: {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}
Timothy Adams: {A-Hearts}{3-Hearts}

The board came {Q-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} and the kicker played to let Sointula double for 99,000, leaving Adams very short.

Bonomo Doubles Through Peters

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

On a flop of {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} we saw big blind Justin Bonomo and hijack Julian Stuer check. David Peters on the button, bet 22,000 and just Bonomo called, Stuer folded.

Bonomo check-called another 33,000 on the {3-Hearts} turn before checking for the third time on the {6-Spades}-river. Peters announced all in and Bonomo only needed a fraction of a second to do a double take on his cards and then call.

Peter showed {K-Spades}{J-Spades} but that hand was soon hitting the muck as Bonomo tabled {K-Clubs}{5-Hearts} for the flopped full house.

Not United for Long

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Charlie Carrel and Ben Heath started at the same table, got separated, then just shared the same table again along with 50,000 Super High Roller finalist Viacheslav Buldygin. Heath was short with just six big blinds and those vanished to Carrel, who took care of Ole Schemion right after to make it two eliminations in a row.

Moments later, the stack of Jack Salter was in the middle of the table from early position for around 75,000. The action folded around to Sam Greenwood in the big blind. Greenwood peeked at his cards and called right away.

Jack Salter: {A-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Sam Greenwood: {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}

The flop fell {9-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and Salter pointed at the board: "Ten. Diamond!" His wish wasn't granted, as the {2-Clubs} on the turn was a brick. Salter then asked for an ace, but the {J-Spades} river failed to improve the Brit and he also exited from the table. "You need to work on that," Carrel joked.

Yan Takes from Uspenskiy

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Konstantin Uspenskiy raised from the hijack and [Removed:17] defended the big blind to quickly check a flop of {J-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}. Uspenskiy continued for 17,000 and Yan called before check-calling another bet worth 46,000 on the {2-Diamonds} turn. Yan checked the third street in a row on the {3-Spades} river and Uspenskiy slowed down, checked behind.

Yan rolled over {Q-Spades}{J-Spades} for jacks and deuces with a queen kicker, which was good enough to win the pot.

Fernandez Busts Silver

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Max Silver
Max Silver

Second to act, Pablo Fernandez raised to 16,000. Action folded to Max Silver in the small blind and he moved in for 106,000. The big blind thought about it for a bit before folding, Fernandez called instantly.

Pablo Fernandez: {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}
Max Silver: {K-Spades}{Q-Spades}

The {A-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{9-Spades} left Silver not much hope but that all changed with the {10-Spades} on the turn.

"That's the one!" Silver shouted.

Unfortunately for him, Silver missed with the {Q-Hearts} on the river and he made his departure from the 25,000 Single-Day.

Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier sent his stack over to table neighbor Steve O'Dwyer while Ramin Hajiyev survived his all in. The third-place finisher of last year was the last player to (re)enter and just three-bet shoved out of the big blind with the {K-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for 81,000. Thomas Muehloecker quickly called in the small blind with {A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} and saw the board run out {K-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{K-Clubs} to give Hajiyev trips kings.
