Wheeler Keeps Hopes Alive
Jason Wheeler put in almost all of his stack from under the gun, which looked to be around 25,000. Action folded to the small blind, where Jonathan Abdellatif pushed all in to put both the big blind and Wheeler at risk. The big blind folded and Wheeler began to tank. With just a handful of eliminations left to the money bubble, Wheeler admitted he wanted to see if the number of players dropped. It did drop, so he declared someone was going to have to call the clock.
"I wouldn't fuck around if we were in a $2K," he said. "But $7,500 is a lot of weed money."
After another minute or two, he said he was giving himself a 30-second clock. At that point, Wheeler did put in his remaining 3,000.
