Sormunen Wins Huge Three-Way Pot

Chip leader Pasi Sormunen raised to 100,000 from the under-the-gun position and Jonathan Therme called from early position. Imed Mahmoud three-bet all in for 320,000 and Sormunen decided to go all in himself. He covered Therme and the bet was effectively 1,800,000. Therme thought long and hard about it and he ended up calling for his tournament life and to win a pot that was about four times the tournament average.
