Who Will Win the 2018 EPT National?

Julien Martini
Julien Martini

Six players remain, one will go home with €547,000 and a $30,000 Platinum Pass at the end of the day. At noon local time, cards will be back in the air for the fourth and final day of the €1,100 EPT National at the PokerStars European Poker Tour.

All six remaining players have already bested 4,342 other players and locked up €123,000 as a reward. Four Frenchman, an Italian and a Dutchman will vy it out for the title total. Leading the way is Jean-René Fontaine (42,500,000), followed by Julien Martini (38,775,000). Martini and Fontaine clashed yesterday in a big pot where Fontaine snapped off a big bluff from his countryman, which propelled him to the chip lead.

Rounding out the pack are Jerome L'Hostis (19,775,000), Alberto Ah-Line (12,300,000), Jan Teunis (8,950,000) and Claudio Di Giacomo (7,700,000). Action will resume with 42 minutes remaining in Level 36 with blinds at 250,000/500,000 and a big blind ante of 500,000.
