Day 3 of the 2019 PokerStars EPT Barcelona �5,300 EPT Main Event gets underway at noon local time with 191 hopefuls returning to the tournament area to continue to battle it out, out of a record-breaking field of 1,988 entries. They will all be focused on making it another day and getting closer to the title.

Simon Mattsson sits on top with 1,191,000 in chips. He is closely followed by Alexis Ibarrola with 1,069,000. Andres Korn rounds up the top three with 974,000. Other big stacks include Jean Ferreira (910,000), Stefan Fabian (810,000), Marian Mik (792,000), and Ben Farrell (760,000).

Many big names are also still in the hunt including Zhen Cai (648,000), Bruno "Kool Shen"Lopes (508,000), Gaelle Baumann (386,000), Ema Zajmovic (260,000), PokerStars Ambassador Fatima Moreira de Melo (236,000), Daniel Dvoress (65,000), and Robert Mizrachi (62,000).

The remaining players have all secured �10,030, but will no doubt be eyeing up the massive first-place prize �1,659,000, the title, and the trophy.

Six 90-minute levels are scheduled for today with a 20-minute break after each level and a 75-minute dinner break after Level 20. Action resumes at Level 17 which features a small blind of 3,000, big blind of 6,000 with a big blind ante of 6,000.
