Only six players out of a field of 879 entries remain in the 2019 PokerStars EPT Open Sochi RUB133,000 Main Event (~$2,040) at the stunning Casino Sochi in the Krasnaya Polyana region near the slopes of the former Olympic Winter Games host city.

The lion's share of the RUB103,370,400 (more than $1.6 million) prize pool is still up for grabs and Giorgiy Skhulukhiya is the commanding chip leader heading into the final day.

Skhulukhiya claimed 11,715,000 to his name, more than three times his nearest rival, as Yi Ye follows in second place with 3,240,000. Trailing them are four players virtually tied and within two big blinds including Lidiya Kozenkova (2,910,000), Natalia Panchenko (2,895,000), Abdul Mamin Abdal Ali Han (2,780,000) and Egor Sukhov (2,680,000).

Hosted by PokerStars ambassador Chris Moneymaker, the event played down to 5% on both starting days and will crown a champion today who will receive a Platinum Pass valued at more than �26,000 Platinum Pass for the 2020 PokerStars Players NL Hold'em Championship (PSPC) in Barcelona.
