Hartmann Doubles, Hajiyev Ousted
Ramin Hajiyev opened to 7,500 in the hijack and received a call by Pascal Hartmann, who defended his big blind. The flop came and Hartmann checked. Hajiyev made a continuation-bet of 8,000, which Hartmann check-raised up to 21,000.
Action was then back on Hajiyev and he thought for a couple of seconds before sliding the rest of his chips forward. Hartmann quickly called all in for less.
Pascal Hartmann:
Ramin Hajiyev:
Hajiyev had gotten it in with two overcards to the board and a flush draw to go with it only to find his six pair outs were dead to Hartmann's aces. He would need to hit a spade to win the pot and would not do so as the turn and river completed the runout in safe fashion for Hartmann, whose remaining stack to be doubled was counted to be 69,000.
Just moments later, Hajiyev was seen leaving the tournament after sending the last of his chips to Ole Schemion.
