Reigning EPT Sochi Main Event Champion Arsenii Karmatckii is back in the field, after failing to progress in Day 1B yesterday. He is off to a good start, improving on his 30,000 starting stack, most recently by winning a pot against Aleksandr Pozdnyakov.
Karmatackii started the hand under the gun and Pozdnyakov was in the big blind. There were just the two of them in the hand on the turn, with 12,500 in the middle and 
on the board. Both players checked and they headed on to the river.
