Nemeth Four-Bet Jams Successfully

Level 17 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Niklas Astedt opened to 40,000 from under the gun and Gab Yong Kim three-bet to 130,000 in the lowjack. Andras Nemeth then four-bet jammed on the button and Astedt quickly folded. Kim asked for a count and the shove was deemed to be for 342,000 total. One time bank extension later, Kim folded.

"Pocket fives?" Sam Grafton asked and Nemeth grinned. "No but I would do the same with pocket fives," he replied with a wide smile on the face. "We know, you don't need to tell us," Alex Kulev chimed in.

Song Calls Down Astedt

Level 17 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Daewoong Song raised to 40,000 from early position, Niklas Astedt called on his immediate left. Everyone else folded.

The flop came {6-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. Song check-called a bet of 35,000. The turn was the {3-Spades} and Song check-called again, this time for 80,000 and Astedt stared him down.

The river came the {3-Diamonds}. Both players checked and Song tabled the {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} top-pair for the winner as Astedt mucked.

Slow Action on the Bubble

Level 17 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

With a few short stacks in contention on the direct money bubble, the action so far has been rather tense and no major pots emerged. After the blinds went up, the average went to just shy of 32 big blinds so it may take a while for the next confrontations to take place.

Audrius Stakelis: {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
Sam Grafton: {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}

The pocket pair held on the {a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{5-Hearts} to send Stakelis out in 10th place. All nine remaining players will now redraw to the unofficial final table and proceed on the money bubble thereafter.

Grafton Raises Astedt on River

Level 16 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Astedt Forces Fold From Grafton

Level 16 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Sam Grafton made it 32,000 to go in the hijack and Niklas Astedt three-bet to 90,000 in the cutoff.

"Do you know how much you started with?" Grafton asked his table neighbour and received a prompt and simple "no" as an answer. The call by Grafton followed and the Brit then check-called for 40,000 on the {10-Spades}{3-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop. He checked the {9-Hearts} turn and Astedt's second barrel for 125,000 did the trick to win the pot uncontested.
