The second-biggest 2021 PokerStars EPT Prague 5,300 Main Event has whittled down a field of 1,190 entries to the final 42 contenders and they will be back in their seats at noon local time in the King's Casino at the Hilton Hotel Prague. All have locked up a payday of 17,780 so far but the lion's share of the 5,771,500 prize pool is still up for grabs.

Three EPT champions of the popular live poker circuit remain in contention to potentially become the third two-time winner including Dimitar Danchev (845,000), Hossein Ensan (765,000), and Adrian Mateos (495,000). For Ensan in particular, it would be the second time he hoisted the coveted Main Event trophy at the same location.

Gab Yong Kim sits atop the leaderboard when the action resumes and returns with a stack of 2,300,000. During the last edition of the marquee event in the capital of the Czech Republic back in 2019, the South Korean finished in 9th place for 74,770 and has been very successful in various online poker competitions since. Only five big blinds behind Kim is Dawid Kuliberda (2,200,000) and Demetrio Caminita (1,850,000) occupies the final spot on the podium.
