It is now time for the third ��25,000 Single-Day High Roller at the PokerStars European Poker Tour London at the Hilton Park Lane hotel. Those who have been eliminated from the ��5,300 EPT Main Event will be able to enter into some high stakes action starting from 12:30 p.m. local time.
Canadian poker pro Daniel Dvoress took down the ��25,000 Single-Day High Roller II last night defeating a field of 19 players to win ��196,170 after beating Portugal's Joao Vieira heads-up.
The one-day tournament will see each player start with 100,000 chips with blinds starting at 500/1,000 with an 1,000 big blind ante. This tournament features unlimited reentries with late registration ending at approximately 7:00 p.m. local time at the start of Level 11. Blind levels will be 30 minutes in length with a 15-minute break after Levels 4 and 7 and a 60-minute dinner break at approximately 6:00 p.m. local time. Thereafter, players will get a 15-minute break every three levels.
A shot clock will be implemented from the start of the event. Players receive eight 30-second time-bank cards before play, seven cards on Level 1, six cards on Level 2 & 3, five cards on Level 4 & 5, and four cards on Level 6 & higher. On the final table, players will receive an additional five time-bank cards.
