The remaining Day 1b players will join the 83 survivors from the Day 1a flight including Anton Wigg, Jack Sinclair, Timothy Adams and PokerStars ambassador Ramon Colillas for Day 2 on Monday, Oct. 24 at noon local time as they look to chase EPT glory at the luxurious Hilton Park Lane.

Day 1b Action

There were plenty of big pots and memorable hands throughout the ten hours of Day 1b play and many of them took place early.

Up-and-coming poker star Landon Tice was the first casualty of the day after losing most of his stack in a brutal full house versus full house cooler and couldn't make it through Level 1 as he then ran pocket tens into the pocket kings of Samuel Ju.

Other early eliminations include Alex Kulev, Joao Vieira, Samantha Abernathy, Steve O'Dwyer and Sylvain Loosli, who picked up ace-king at the wrong time and couldn't get ahead of the pocket rockets of Jeremy Routier.

WSOP Main Event champ Hossein Ensan was eliminated late in the day when he made a set with his pocket jacks but couldn't get ahead of the straight of Florian Duta with ace-queen.
