Ievchenko Chips Up After Five-Way Pot
Level 11
: Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Hossein Ensan opened to 2,200 and got four callers to see a flop five ways.
The flop landed and checked around to Mehdi Meray on the button, who bet 4,700. Oleksii Ievchenko called from the small blind and Ensan also called. The hijack then raised all in for 27,600 and Meray and Ievchenko both called, while Ensan folded.
Ievchenko checked on the turn and Meray bet 25,000. Ievchenko called. Ievchenko checked again on the river and Meray checked back.
Ievchenko tabled for nines full of queens, which was good against of Meray and the of the hijack.
Ensan told the table he had ace-queen and would have made the best hand.
"You fold? You don't know the runout?!" said Jon Kyte.
