The €50,000 EPT Super High Roller Kicks Off Today at 12:30 P.M.

Big money, bigger action, and the biggest names in the poker world. The largest buy-in event at the 2022 PokerStars European Poker Tour Prague is set to get underway today. One of the marquee events at the festival includes the €50,000 EPT Super High Roller and the action is slated to begin at 12:30 p.m. local time.

The tournament series being held at King's Casino Prague is full of high-roller events over the course of two weeks with plenty of cash up for grabs. Thus far, it has been the Ben Heath show as he recently captured both of the €25,000 Single-Day High Rollers, amassing a total of over €500,000 in the first few days. Other players to cash in multiple events thus far include Pablo Brito Silva and Jorryt van Hoof.

This event is expected to attract some of the biggest names in the poker world, especially those in the high-roller scene. Some other notables expected to be seen at the felt today include Adrian Mateos, Timothy Adams, Sam Greenwood, Daniel Dvoress, and Steve O'Dwyer just to name a few.

The cards are scheduled to go in the air at 12:30 p.m. local time with all of those registered before the start of the tournament receiving half of the registration fee returned in cash. A starting stack will be worth 250,000 chips with the blinds being 60 minutes in length and starting at 500/1,000 with a 1,000 big blind ante. There will be a total of eight levels played on Day 1 with a 20-minute break after every two levels.

This is expected to be a three-day event with late registration staying open until the start of Day 2 tomorrow. There will be an unlimited number of reentries permitted for those who bow out early. The shot clock will be in play from the start with 15 seconds to act preflop and 30 seconds on all later streets.
