Davies Eliminates Heath

Level 1 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Ben Heath
Ben Heath

Seth Davies and Ben Heath were all in pre-flop with each player holding close to their original starting stack.

Ben Heath: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Seth Davies: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

Heath was way ahead but the {10-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} put Davies firmly out in front.

The {5-Clubs} turn was no help to Heath as Davies had the bigger club.

The {7-Diamonds} completed the board and after the dealer counted out Davies' stack of 105,000, Heath admitted he was barely covered and left the tournament area.

Nick Petrangelo
Nick Petrangelo

There was a decent pot brewing with the board reading {10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} on the flop. Nick Petrangelo, from under the gun, put out a bet of 20,000 and Mikita Badziakouski called from the button.

On the {2-Spades} turn, Petrangelo went all in. Badziakouski, who had 56,500 behind, considered his options for just under a minute before letting his cards go.

Addamo Doubles Up Early in Level 1

Level 1 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Michael Addamo
Michael Addamo

With around 11,500 already in the pot with the board reading {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{2-Spades}, Michael Addamo checked from the big blind over to Sirzat Hissou, who put in a bet of 10,000.

Addamo sat there in contemplation before going virtually all in, leaving a solitary T-500 chip behind.

Hissou took about 30 seconds before putting Addamo all in. Addamo flicked in his last chip and turned over {5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} for the wheel.

Hissou, who was left with just 1,000 after the hand, turned over {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for two pair having also turned a flush draw.
