Sammartino, Ylitalo, and Wigg Amongst the Leaders on Day 2 of the �3,000 Mystery Bounty Championship

The PokerStars and Barcelona?Casino European Poker Tour rolls on with the second day of the �3,000 Mystery Bounty Championship. Action will resume shortly at 1:00 p.m. local time.

Amongst the players at the top are Dario Sammartino (214,000) and previous EPT Main Event champions Robin Ylitalo (185,000) and Anton Wigg (169,000).

PokerStars Ambassador Parker Talbot is also in the mix and will be coming back to a stack of 105,000.

However, all players will be chasing Canada's Marcello Del Grosso, who bagged nearly twice the amount of chips as the rest of the field and comes into today with an incredible 575,000 chips and a huge chance to score several Mystery Bounty Tokens.

There will be 337 players returning to the felt today from 996 Day 1 entries. However, late registration remains open until the beginning of Day 2, so those hoping to spin up 20 big blinds have until 1 p.m. local time to join or re-join the fun.

12 levels were played on Wednesday, and the bounty component of the tournament will take effect today as all remaining players will receive a "Mystery Bounty Token��. All players that eliminate another player on Day 2 will receive their token and be able to take their token to the Mystery Bounty desk anytime after the second break of the day (around 5:15 p.m. local time) to draw their envelope.

There are a number of cash prizes to be won in addition to the PLATINUM PASS ADDED - WORTH $30,000 and a RED SPADE PASS ADDED - WORTH $18,000. Prize amounts will be announced at the start of the day.

Players will follow the same 40-minute level format for Day 2, playing 12 levels with a 15-minute break every three levels, beginning at Level 13 with 1000/1500/1500. A 60-minute dinner break is currently scheduled at the end of Level 21.
