One of the final massive tournaments from the PokerStars and Barcelona?Casino European Poker Tour wraps up Sunday, with 16 remaining hopefuls looking to claim €962,880, a PokerStars Spadie trophy, and the title of 2022 EPT Barcelona €10,300 EPT High Roller champion.
It will be Australian Ehsan Amiri in pole position with 4,115,000 chips after a dominant Day 2 that saw him build his stack throughout the day, including the elimination of PokerStars Ambassador Andre Akkari on the final hand to send him over the 100 big blind mark to start Sunday’s play.
Plenty of notables remain in the hunt for the title, however, including German crusher Stefan Schillhabel (2,710,000), who won an EPT Prague €10,300 High Roller in 2016, PokerStars Ambassador and Inaugural PSPC champion Ramon Colillas (1,800,000) former SCOOP champion Laszlo Molnar (1,710,000), and Damian Salas (1,160,000), who’s won both EPT Online and SCOOP championships.

Play will resume at 12:30 p.m. local time at Level 25 with blinds of 20,000/40,000 with a 40,000 big blind ante. Fifteen-minute breaks are scheduled after every two levels with a dinner break scheduled after Level 32.
The 30-second shot clock remains in play, and once the final table is reached a couple of adjustments to the structure will be made. Once four players remain, level time will be reduced from 50 minutes to 45, and with three remaining, the level time will shrink to 30 minutes.
