From "He Always Does It" to "He Has It"
Level 6
: Blinds 200/500, 500 ante
After Adrian Mateos raised in early position to 1,100, Tom Orpaz called in the cutoff then glanced to his left at Johannes Straver reaching for chips.
"He always does it," commented Orpaz, seemingly expecting a three-bet from his opponent, but instead Straver just called.
The flop came and Mateos continued for 1,100 more. He was called by both opponents.
On the turn, Mateos checked, Orpaz quickly checked behind, and Straver now bet 2,200.
Mateos folded, but Orpaz came along.
The board paired again on the river and Orpaz checked. Straver bet 10,000 which Orpaz quickly called.
Straver showed for a full house.
"He has it!" said Orpaz with surprise as the chips were pushed past him to Straver.
