Kara Takes Three-Bet Pot

Action folded to Halim Tutku Kara who opened for 5,500 from middle position. Silviu Baltateanu called on the button and Antonio D'ascenzo elected to three-bet to 12,500 from the small blind. Kara made the call and Baltateanu got out of the way.
The flop came 
and both players checked. On the 
turn D'ascenzo checked again and Kara bet 13,500, which D'ascenzo quickly called.
The 
completed the board and both players checked to showdown. D'ascenzo rolled over 
for ace-high and Kara revealed 
for flopped top-pair, enough to scoop in the pot.
