A champion will soon be crowned in the €1,100 French Poker Series (FPS) Main Event as part of 2022 PokerStars European Poker Tour presented by Monte-Carlo Casino??.
A record-breaking 1,918 entrants from four starting flights created a €1,841,280 prize pool, and today at 1 p.m. local time, only six players will return to the felt at the Monte-Carlo Sporting complex on the beautiful French Riviera as they set their eyes on victory.

Israel’s Jacob Amsellem is the chip leader heading into the finale with over 37% of the chips in play. Brazil’s Lucas Scafini and Italy’s Fabio Peluso are the next two players in the counts, while Hungary’s Tibor Nagygyorgy, France’s Florian Guimond, and France’s Francois Vincenti sit as the bottom three stacks with under twenty big blinds each, although they will still have room to make a run at the trophy. All players have locked up €54,020, but only one can rise to the top to earn the first-place prize of €290,910.
