Simon Paparone opened the action to 800 in middle position and was raised to 2,000 by Romain Retiere in the highjack. The button, Eddy Curcio, called and so did Paparone as it went three ways to the flop.
The 4?6?9? hit the felt, as Paparone checked it to Retiere. He bet out 1,200 and was raised by Curcio to 2,400. Paparone then came over the top and reraised to 11500. After a little deliberation, both Retiere and Curcio folded their hands, awarding a sizeable pot to Paparone.
