Grafton Can't Bluff Antonius
Level 9
: Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Action folded to Patrik Antonius who limped in from the button, as did small blind Sam Grafton. Jean-Noel Thorel checked his option and they went three-handed to the 3?3?6? flop.
Grafton and Thorel checked over to Antonius who bet 11,000. Both opponents called to the 9? turn where action was checked through to the river.
The dealer turned over the 7? and Grafton led out for 75,000. Thorel quickly folded, but Antonius went into the tank. He looked over at Grafton and began laughing before tossing in a chip to signify a call.
Grafton showed A?4? for a bluff and Antonius turned over 9?7? to win the pot with two pair.
"I never manage to bluff you. Not once," Grafton said. "The first time I do I'm going to slam it down."
