Shaw called and they went heads-up to the 5?8?8? flop. Wiciak continued for 800,000 and Shaw put in a raise to 2,100,000. Wiciak then reraised to 3,500,000 and Shaw called.
Both players checked the Q? turn before Wiciak spiked a pair on the J? river. He checked again, and Shaw quickly tapped the felt as Wiciak took the more than 10,000,000 chip pot with that fortunate river.
