EPT Barcelona's �25,000 No-Limit Hold'em II Begins at 12:30 PM
PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) Barcelona continues with its second of several big buy-in events as the �25,000 No-Limit Hold'em II begins today at 12:30 p.m. local time. This tournament was originally scheduled as a �50,000 buy-in.
This event last year attracted a select but elite field of 59, creating a prize pool of �2,862,090. After a grueling 16 hours of play and four bullets, Mike Watson was crowned champion to earn �872,940 as he defeated runner-up Kahle Burns. Arthur Conan, Aleksejs Ponakovs, and Michael Addamo also made runs to the final table.

The 2023 tournament version is a one-day event, featuring 100,000 starting stacks and 30-minute levels. There is a 15-minute break after Levels 4, 7, 10, 18, and 26, a 20-minute break after Level 22, and a 75-minute dinner break at the end of Level 14, which should come around 8:15 p.m.
Players are allowed unlimited reentries, with late registration remaining open until the end of Level 10 around 6:15 p.m.
