Romeo Cracks Kings to Double
Igor Dorozhkin bet 1,500 from the button on a flop of K?10?10? before small blind Charis Sisou raised to 3,700. Dorozhkin called and the 3? fell on the turn.
Sisou then continued for 5,000 and Dorozhkin tossed his hand away.
That pot was just a preliminary to what came immediately after. On the next hand at this table, Julien Montois raised to 1,000 in middle position, Fabio Romeo three-bet to 3,100 in the hijack, and Montois four-bet to 9,000.
Romeo called to see the 8?J?9? flop, where Montois bet 11,000. Romeo called and the Q? fell on the turn.
Montois then checked and Romeo moved all in for 19,900. Montois spent a few minutes in the tank before calling and turning over K?K?, but Romeo had 10?9? for a straight.
The river came the 8? and Romeo doubled up.
