EPT Cyprus

The PokerStars European Poker Tour Cyprus action continues tonight with the second flight of the $2,200 Eureka High Roller, starting at 7 p.m. EEST. With the continued success of the Eureka Main Event it is expected to attract a stacked field of some of the biggest names in poker, who have made their way to the Merit Royal Diamond Hotel Casino & Spa.

The buy-in for the tournament is $2,200, with each player starting with a stack of 30,000 chips. The blinds begin at 100/200/200. This flight will play as a turbo (20-minute levels) in hopes of providing a second opportunity to the players who were not able to find a bag in the morning flight of this event. Unlimited reentries are allowed until late registration closes after Level 10. Please note that there is no dinner break scheduled for this flight but there will be a 20-minute break at the completion of every five levels.

The plan for Day 1a and 1b is to continue playing until only 15 percent of the players are left. At that point, the action will conclude, and those who have successfully "bagged and tagged" will return on Monday for Day 2 when the remaining players will play down to a winner, who will be crowned Eureka High Roller Champion.

The Eureka High Roller event is not a new one. The last time it was held was at the 2022 EPT Prague, where Sander Ostlyngen of Norway emerged victorious and took home a grand prize of €463,850, beating a field of 1,534 participants. The first flight of the tournament has already garnered more than 900 entries and late registration is still open. Don't miss out on the opportunity to participate in this amazing event.
