Khordbin Gets it in Bad at Exactly the Right Time
Oleg Netaliev only had 4,000 remaining and opted to move in from early position. Surprisingly, it folded all the way to the small blind where Pete Chen was sitting. After only a moment he moved all in for 32,000. Hadi Khordbin was in the big blind and seemed to have a real decision on his hands. After getting a count of Chen's stack he was ready to flick in the call having both of his opponents covered.
The cards hit their backs with Chen and Netaliev all in and at risk.
Oleg Netaliev: K?3?
Pete Chen: K?4?
Hadi Khordbin: Q?J?
Khordbin was behind but had two live cards going to the run out. The dealer burned and then rolled over the Q?3?5? flop. Khordbin jumped into the lead and would stay there on the 7? turn and Q? river.
He earned the double knockout and a hefty pile of chips in the process.
