The PokerStars European Poker Tour Cyprus at the Merit Royal Diamond Hotel Casino & Spa continues today with Day 2 of the $2,200 Eureka High Roller.

Over a total of two starting flights hosted yesterday, an impressive 1,444 entries were recorded, contributing a massive $2,772,480 to the prize pool. Of those, 216 players will be returning to the felt today to battle it out as both starting flights merge for the first time. While official payouts are yet to be confirmed, all players to have progressed to Day 2 are in the money.

Returning to the felt as the overall chip leader is Maximilian Silz who managed to accumulate an impressive 1,134,000 on Day 1a yesterday. Silz’s chip lead is emphasised as he is the first player to eclipse the one million chip mark.

Coming into the day second in chips is Alejandro Lococo who managed to amass his plentiful stack of 665,000 late last night on Day 1b. Lococo is the only member of the PokerStars Team Pro that managed to find a bag in this event, so there’s no doubt all eyes will be on the ambassador.
