Martirosian, Auzoux Chop a Big One

Level 5 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

More than 20,000 was in the middle as Artur Martirosian and Gregoire Auzoux went heads-up to the turn with the board showing 9?Q?A?7?.

Martirosian then bet 20,500 from under the gun and Auzoux called on the button. The river was the 9? and Martirosian bet another 70,000.

Auzoux quickly called and Martirosian showed A?J? for two pair, aces and nines. Auzoux let out a sigh of relief as he showed A?8? for the same two pair to chop the pot.

Adrian Mateos, coming off busting the $10,300 High Roller earlier today, just took his seat at this table.

Both players checked and the A? fell on the river. Ponakovs then fired out 20,000 and Badziakouski gave the decision some thought before mucking.

"Such a weird hand," Badziakouski said as Ponakovs raked in the pot
