Iakobishvili Drops a Pot Off Vieira, Wins a Prop Bet From Daher
Kyle Cheong arrived to the table to bring the total number of entries to eight. The tournament floor asked the table whether they wanted to stay at one table, or separate into two tables of four. It was decided to keep it eight-handed as Joao Vieira then opened to 2,500 under the gun.
Gha Iakobishvili then three-bet to 7,500 in the hijack and Vieira called. "You cannot win this hand, "Iakobishvili told Vieira heading to the 5?3?6?.
Iakobishvili and Albert Daher had a bet going on all-black flops. "That's 15," Iakobishvili told Daher before betting another 10,000.
Vieira called and both players checked the 2? turn. The river came the 9?. "What's all black? One million," Iakobishvili joked.
Vieira then led out for 30,000 and Iakobishvili folded.
The next hand, Daher and Vieira went heads-up to a flop of J?7?2? and Iakobishvili won another $2,000 on the all-red flop. "Fifteen plus two. So 17. Finally something good," Iakobishvili said.
Daher bet 2,500 on the button and Vieira called to the 6? turn. Daher then bet another 10,000 and Vieira called.
The river came the Q? and Daher fired out another 25,000. Vieira gave up his hand this time.
