Lupino Triples as Alt Busts
Sim Kok Wai opened to 120,000 from the cutoff before Dinesh Alt went all in for 790,000 from the small blind. Marco Lupino was in the big blind and thought for a while before announcing his own all in for 670,000.
Wai was intrigued by the situation, repeating several times that ''this hand has been doing very good for me today.'' Eventually, he decided that that was enough reason to call as well, creating a three-way all-in situation in the late stages of the High Roller.
Marco Lupino: Q?Q?
Dinesh Alt: 5?5?
Sim Kok Wai: 9?9?
All three players had a pair, with Lupino having the highest one. The 2?3?3?2?J? runout did nothing to change that fact and Lupino secured his triple-up, while Alt was forced to leave the tournament area. Lastly, Wai received a consolation prize in the form of a small side pot.
