Martini and Wilf Collide in the Blinds
Level 15
: Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Julien Martini and Saar Wilf were heads-up in the blinds with around 70,000 in the pot already. The board read J?4?2?2?3? and Martini slid out a bet of 83,000 in the small blind, leaving just 1,000 behind.
Saar Wilf leaned across the table to get a better look at his opponent as he deliberated for minutes. "Ace-jack is supposed to be a snap-call," Wilf said aloud.
Wilf thought for another 30 seconds before dropping in some chips to call. Martini whipped over K?5? for a flush and Wilf's cards went into the muck.
